Tobis B. Cooley, 79, of Laurel, MS died peacefully Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at his residence in Laurel, MS. He was born Tuesday, August 16, 1938 in Wayne County, MS. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel in Laurel. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel in Laurel, MS. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Laurel, MS. Survivors include his son, Randy Cooley (Angela), Laurel, MS, son-in-law, James Wardell, Laurel, MS, grand children; Meagan Cooley, Leighton Cooley, Madelyn Cooley, Kolton Wardell (Stephanie), Kyra Wardell, Karson Wardell, great-grand children; Kayden Wardell, Lealah Wardell, girlfriend and best friend, Marsha Evans, Laurel, MS.
