Thomas 'Tom' Gail Blakeney, 78, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, died Saturday, July 21, 2018, at his residence in Taylorsville, Mississippi. He was born Sunday, February 18, 1940 in Smith County, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 10:30 AM until 2:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 23, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville and the burial will follow in Clear Creek Cemetery. Bro Matthew Powell and Bro. He was preceded in death by his parents Gail Cristina & Louise Keene Blakeney.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years Mary Blakeney, Son, Tony Blakeney (Karen), Daughters, Julie Ishee (Danny Ray) and Darlene Blakeney (Dwayne "Stan") , Brother, Dick Blakeney, Charles "Hop" Blakeney, Sister Joyce Prine (Ray), Brother, John Billy Blakeney, 5 Grandchildren, and 9 Great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Josh Middleton, Kevin Bentley, Rob Valentine, Larry Meadows, Alden Blakeney, Jordan Blakeney, Kyle Broadway, Rick Valentine.

Honorary pallbearers will be Carlos Ray Valentine, Kenneth Ray Blakeney.
