Charles Wayne Holifield, 58, of Laurel, Mississippi, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Merit Health (Wesley) in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born Wednesday, October 24, 1962 in Laurel, Mississippi.

A memorial service will be held Monday, October 25, 2021 at 7:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel. Bro. Josh Hawk will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. (601) 649-3342

Wayne was a loving father and grandfather and was valued by the community. He was a carpenter by trade and loved what he did.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Lamar and Carolyn Sue Holifield, sister, Cynthia Entrekin, step-mother, Gladys Holifield, niece, Gracie Robinson, brother-in-law, Billy Irwin.

Survivors include his daughters, Courtney Holifield, Candice Holifield, 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, sisters, Karen Irwin, Darlene Jones (Eric), Theresa Foust (Casey), brothers, Charles Holifield, James Breland, Michael Breland, Curtis Breland.
