Willard David Floyd, Jr., 76 of Laurel, MS passed away Monday, February 12, 2024. He was born Thursday, April 3, 1947 in Laurel, Mississippi.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel in Laurel, MS. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. 601-649-3342

A resident of Jones County and a Vietnam Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Willard Floyd, Sr.; mother, Irene Temple Floyd; brother; John Floyd; sisters; Grace Eiland, and Patsy Cochran as well has his late wife, Dora Floyd.

Survivors include his wife, Viola Ann Beiderwell Floyd; Son and Daughter Eric And Christie Ragan; Daughter, Kristie Floyd; Daughter and Son; Paula and Justin Pitts; Four Grandsons, Jacob Ragan (Reba), Drake Lewis, Chase Lewis and Kysen Pitts; Three Granddaughters, Kaylee Ragan (Rodger), Kynleigh Pitts, Kimber Pitts; One Great Granddaughter,  Layla; Two Great Grandsons, Hayden and Beckham; Two Sisters, Joann Everett and Rose Jean Gilbert; Five Brothers, Charles, Jimmy, Joe, Olen, and Johnny Floyd as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
