Winfred T. Bishop, 68 of Laurel, MS passed away Friday, July 14, 2023, at his residence in Laurel, MS. He was born Thursday, July 15, 1954, in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, from 11:00AM until 12:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel in 4593 Indian Springs Road, Laurel, MS. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 12:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel in Laurel, MS. Will Bishop worked as a sheet metal mechanic over 40 years with McCaskill Brothers, and was considered the best in his field. He was a hardworking, dedicated father, brother and uncle. He never met a stranger and brought love and laughter to all around. As he would always say, "It's not goodbye it's see you later".

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Windham Bishop; father, R.J Bishop; mother, Mary Katherine Bishop; brother, James E. Bishop.

Survivors include his daughters, Lexy Bishop, Tasha Bishop (Samantha Gaffney) and Madi Simons; son, Dustin Brownlee; grandchild, Beckett Thomas; brother, David Bishop (Bobbie); sisters, Gerry Whited and Glenda Causey; nephew, Rodney Bishop (Tila); nieces, Julene Whited and Kimberly Whited.
